Biopsies and Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA)

At BR Radiology Group, we provide precise and minimally invasive biopsy and Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) procedures to assist in diagnosing various conditions. These procedures allow for the collection of tissue or cell samples, which are then examined by a pathologist. Biopsies typically involve removing a small tissue sample, while FNAs use a thin, hollow needle to extract cells from the targeted area.

FNAs are especially effective for evaluating thyroid nodules, breast lumps, and enlarged lymph nodes, and both procedures are guided by imaging to ensure accuracy.
